Hi, my name is Vegard Sandvold, and I’m here to help you understand the music business; in Norway specifically, and in the rest of the world in general.
As you can see from the picture, I enjoy playing music, although only as a hobby. I work as an enterprise search consultant for an Oslo-based search solution provider. I got a cand.scient. degree in music technology and informatics from the University of Oslo, and I have published several academic papers and given numerous talks on these subjects.
My latest project is called Live! Revolution, a series of live concert webcasts from a local cafe here in Oslo. You can read more about that on the Live! Revolution page.
